The report is the second phase of the architect’s work for NCRD, and follows an Options Study which was completed in October 2012. The conceptual design report includes considerations for sustainable design as well as for building code compliance, and covers the proposed design itself including site plan, floor plan, cross-sections and model views. The scope of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems are described, and a cost estimate for construction and operations is included.

The show follows Reginald Potter (Brian McMahon) as he tries to fend off supposed attempts to steal his cursed diamond, which has been in his family for centuries. Among the pursuers of the diamond is his Vegas vamp wife, Daphne (Sedona Torres), plus a slew of bumbling detectives (Linda Olsson, Michael Dinan, Stewart Martin, Candace Nelson), supposedly hired to protect Reggie and his diamond. Will the gypsy curse on the Hopeless Diamond claim yet another victim — if so, who is the victim and who is the guilty one? There’s only one way to find out because the audience will be invited to participate in solving the mystery!

Invitation to Bid

North County Recreation District is inviting bids for the re-siding of the east and west walls of its gymnasium in Nehalem, Oregon, 97131. The work involves installing approximately 2,800 sq. ft of Hardiplank siding, replacement of two canopies, window and door trim, replacement of gutters and downspouts, and painting. The work is planned for award on 8 July 2013.

The contract will be lump sum.

This is the first of two reports about the new pool being completed in April. The second is a Fundraising Feasibility Study that is being prepared by consultant Metropolitan Group, which will be presented to the Board at a public meeting on May 2, 2013 at 6.00 pm in the NCRD facility.

The season for Pre-K and Kindergarten begins April 26 and ends May 24 with participants meeting as follows:

• Pre-K meets every Friday, from 1:15 pm until 2:00 pm.  Fee: $15 for season.
• Kindergarten meets every Friday, from the time school is out until 3:45 pm.  Fee: $15 for season.
